Hidden in the idyllic and untouched place in the south west part of peninsular of Lombok, our Villa Rembulan is focusing to offer the guests the opportunity to genuinely ‘get off daily routines’ and experiencing 5 star luxury at the same time. Lying in a sweeping bay which is only 50 meters away from our own private beach, the Villa Rembulan offers an offshore with small and untouched islands in their surrounding just waiting to be explored using the traditional boat. The villa itself is situated in beautiful tropical gardens with plants producing scents and colourful flowers and butterflies around. This is the first, foremost and unforgettable place to do absolutely different things. Simply enjoy and absorb the tropical atmosphere and get your soul and body fully recharged.
LIVING and DINING AREA
The gorgeous living area comprises a casual and relaxed architecture in which our guests can entertain or just lying and gaze at the ocean. The room itself consists of two large French windows opening out onto the verandah and is enabling the guests the chance to catch the unforgettable picturesque views of the ocean and tropical mountain from the comfort of your rattan chairs and sofas. The living and dining room is provided with an internet/cable tv, dvd player and CD system as the standard, along with a microwave oven, toaster and refrigerator.
EN-SUITE BEDROOMS
No more dreaming, catch and realize your dream at our resort by waking up each morning and looking up into the thatched eves of the ceiling, then pulling the curtains back of the enormous french windows to unseal the amazing view of the ocean just 40m from the villa.
Our Villa has 2 air-conditioned double en-suite bedrooms which are spacious enough and provided with large king sized beds with mosquito nets, red teak wooden parquette and are exquisite decorated in mustard and jade colours. The two rooms comprise french doors which open out onto the balcony which extends along three sides of the house and boasts eye-catching views of the sea and gardens. The main bedroom is provided with French doors as well which open out onto the verandah.
KITCHEN
Our resort provides the guests with basic cooking facilities adjacent the living and dining area. Most of the meals can be prepared by your own personal cooks (affectionately known as ‘Aunties’) in a separate kitchen hut only 50 meters away and will be served at your table. A small charge for this service might apply according to the season.
The ‘Aunties’ are very good in cooking tasty traditional local dishes along with western cuisine to cater the children or those without an exotic pallet. Raw materials are bought fresh and most of the vegetables and fruits are grown in our own private gardens. Local fishermen bring the night catch to the door in the following morning – don’t forget to check out the king prawns and squid!!.
VERANDAH
‘To die for’ is exactly the only phrase to say a word about the view from our stunning villa. Rembulan which is set on a small hill above the beach with its 3m wide verandah looks out to the ocean with the amazing and unforgettable views of sand fringed islands and Mount Rinjani.
The two stylish bedrooms are excellent and artistic equipped with their own luxury bathroom and opening onto the veranda.
POOL AREA
Getting bored with dipping in the ocean all day long, just chance the spot and lounging by your own private pool. Our spacious swimming pool is adjacent the villa and has a direct access through a path with plants on both side with tropical trees and flowers.
The only 1.8 meter deep pool is tastefully designed with moss green and offers memorable views to the ocean. The kids will be safe as there is enough spacious area in the pool to safely paddle in.
There is plenty of rooms to sunbathe and umbrellas are offering welcoming shade. A small traditional hut provides for the perfect atmosphere to sit and sip a glass of cocktail. Around the pool are Plenty of flowers and plants is surrounding the pool to lure our guests to really enjoy this paradise.
OUR GARDEN
The villa is hiding in its own private eden which brims with tropical flowers and fruit. Brightly coloured hibiscus, palms and lemon trees are there to create your very own tropical paradise. Special and attentive care keeps the flowers healthy to attract butterflies and other beautiful wildlife.
Fruits such as lemons, cashew nuts, pineapples, papaya and bananas are ready to be picked by you from the myriad of trees around the garden.
A patio area at the back of the villa is accessible through a stunning wooden pagoda with jasmin, alamanda and other climbing plants all around.
FACILITIES
There is your very own private beach a little 50 meters farther from the verandah where you can swim safely in the calm shallow and clear water. Whether to stroll up the deserted beach within 1 km distance or passing 2 more kilometers to see the odd fishermen bringing in their catch. After sunset you can lean your back sitting and enjoy a glass of wine or two and watch the tropical night shimmering the still waters and listening to the sound of the cicadas. Your own private boat is moored here should you wish to use it in a sudden.
PRIVATE BOAT
Moored near to your room, your own private boat is awaiting there to take you off island hopping, fishing or just out onto the open bay for a spot of sunbathing.
Imagine you are on a picnic and marooning yourself on one of the islands, snorkeling over crystal clear water and coral every bit as impressive as the Gili reefs - but please keep it as a secret, it's so quiet and tranquil and we treat it as our own private reef.
FRIENDLY STAFF
A group of friendly staffs of 8 will always be there to meet your every need before, during, and after your stay at our Villa Rembulan. From the beginning you arrive in Lombok, our hosts Yophie and Corrie will welcome and provide you with a transport to the villa. Two cooks are preparing your meals in a separate annex and serve them in the dining area or simply out on the verandah. Two gardeners keep the flowers and fruit trees and two other maintenance staffs cover as security as well. Our staffs have been trained to be sensitive to your privacy. The villa and gardens are yours and it remains. However, the staffs are absolutely friendly and will chat to you to realize your every dreams.
SECURITY
Indonesians are extremely friendly and welcoming people indeed by nature. The Villa Rembulan is hiding in a very rural, quiet and safe part of Lombok. Many people who have stayed in our villa have left the doors open at night while sleeping and felt absolutely safe. We have been running our resort for over 15 years so we know the areas and the people quiet well indeed. Our gardeners act as our security team as well and are always keeping an eye on the villa for the sake of peace of mind of our guests.
